I can’t believe that you’ve amassed to 19 stone 84, maybe you should check the scales are operating properly. How heavy did you think you were anyway ? What is your correct weight based on your height ?

We can start anorexic thread….
August 18, 2010 at 3:27 am #1228408I’m on an awesome “diet”. Although it’s more of a change of diet, as opposed to a temporary light weight one. Excuse the pun.
You pay £4 a day, it works out as, which is very literally what you spend on food a day anyway. From this, you get a month’s worth of food. In Micro-sachets. You get a breakfast (cereal, your pick from super-market), then dinner, a really nice soup (Honestly, really nice), then a dinner. This can be from alsorts, depending on what you chose. From Mushroom Risotto, to Tikka Masala. And they are all really nice. Add your own vegi (frozen stuff if you like) and you’re away.
Whilst I have been hungry, I have lost weight. (I’m about 12 stone, but I am luckily, naturally, moderately stocky). Justify side hehe.
The most amazing thing is, that I have had only 1 hangover since I started. Now I drink to the extremes several times a week. And to me, to wake up, at 8am, feeling like I’ve never drank is amazing. I’ve always suffered with bad hang overs. Really bad. I’m known for it. I used to puke green bile after a few Special Brews (My normal tipple). Sometimes even only a few pints of stella, despite not even feeling drunk. I often wondered if I was allergic.
Now I feel absolutely fresh after a night on the lash, and passing out.
This is proof to me, that healthy eating is where it’s at. I was obviously lacking some sort of nutrient, seeing as I haven’t changed my drinking diet.
If anyone wants the detail to this pre-packaged diet, I shall pass them on. All your ordered meals, in a sack, microwave for 2 mins. And some are very, very nice. Better than the frozen shit I eat, or even some of the fresh shit I eat.
Good luck.

how tall are you? if you are tall you may not be as overweight as you fear (I’d also check the scale is on level ground and properly zeroed)
I am just 1.5 kilos over recommended weight for my height but its not worth torturing myself about. (in the last 2 weeks I have not been riding my bike as much as I have been off work, although doing some DIY..)
I admit to having envied Vladimir Putin’s physique (especially considering he is over 50) as I am the same height as him – and if you are short you can look fatter – but managed to find out that gets up at about 05:00 every morning, does a entire hour gym/sports and then goes for a walk with his dog (and then does all the other usual world leader type stuff) and unlike most Russians doesn’t touch a drop of vodka – for me this is way too austere a lifestyle.

6 foot or over and a big build so its not too bad in the sense that I recon if I lost a couple of stone I would be fine enough. I think its lack of exercise, the binge eating and drinking vast amounts of cheap cider. Illegal drugs do have their advantages grrr
Vlad does a lot of Judo doesn’t he?

August 19, 2010 at 9:05 pm #1228388AnonymousDieting is cool , but when the BBQ smells I forget about my health.:weee:

indeed I noticed a weight gain since moving to EA and not doing as many stimulants. However people are bigger across East Anglia so this isn’t as noticeable.
perhaps drinking less but better cider might be a plan..
they don’t seem to do online sales but there must be some way of getting the cider delivered to you, I don’t think they are far away..

Well, frozen shit was all I lived on beforehand, so this is definitely better. It’s fully hydrated.
I was never brought up on home cooked food, so I don’t have much of a passion towards cooking myself. Maybe when I move out and I’m doing the shopping for myself perhaps.
The proof to me is in how I feel anyway. As I mentioned with hangovers. Must be doing something good. Or better, should I say.

Theres a place 5 mins down the road that make their own cider its meant to be good but I can never really afford it. Simular sort of setup to that site I think. I have instead moved on to drinking cheap scotch and trying not to drink in the week or in the day. Kinda sucks that all I want is a nice crisp cool pint of lager right now. Or fruit beer. Or a light ale.

Sounds like a cult to me.

This would mean that 84 is 20 odd stone…unless is trying to represent that he’s slimmer than in reality. There’s no way of knowing :weee:
August 25, 2010 at 9:38 am #1228417im going through something similar to be honest! ive got a massive beer gut!
3 words wizz fast plan!
when i was younger and using billy quite heavily i dropped to 7 stone wich was very unhealthy! now ive gone up to about 13stone! and its all on the gut! so basicly ive been eating sensibly in the week, no snacking just bringing in home made sandwiches etc, then on the weekend dance like a loon loads of billy and whack its falling off!
my biggest problem was sundays and just eating constantly!
its only slight changes ive made but theyre having a big impact!
