Firstly, change “scottsman” into “Scotsmen” the plural proper noun with a capital and secondly “scotts” should be “Scots” – again, it’s a proper noun form so it requires a capital letter at the start.

I agree with a comment made on the first page of this thread, that there are many people on SJ that seem bitter that there experiences have gone wrong and hold a grudge against the scene and younger generations. Yes the scene has changed, get used to it.

I think it’s mostly harmless, apart from if any information is accidently given out that could incriminate anyone. But that applies to any forum like SJ or PV that are for parties and illegal things like them. There is always a chance that something could get in to the OB hands, whether it be a picture of someone which could be used in prosocuting someone for orgainising a rave, or just information where the party is going to be at the weekend, either way both sorts of information could be harmful.

I prefer SJs user interface, i find it really odd on here flicking around the pages trying to find threads im intrested in, im just really used to SJ and so im quick with it, also i like the banter, i think some (not all of the trolls) are funny and i like it when Katrina gets all defensive of her norfolkian people.

Be good if SJ didnt go down once a month though 😉

SJ, as such, is Just A Bit Of Fun. I’ve come to know lots of people on there and consider a fair few of them as ‘real life’ friends now.

Believe it or not, people don’t act, in ‘real life’, as they do on teh interwebs.

It’s all good and well until it spills over into people’s personal lives, which it quite frequently does. I’ve got nothing against sarcasm and a bit of abuse, but there are some proper sad cunts on there who live each day for making yet another bitter sarcastic remark. Makes you wonder what amazing things they could achieve if they put even half of the effort they do into sj into their real lives :you_crazy
