I just saw on the news that a girl in high school got seriously burned trying to make a plaster cast of her hand and had to have some fingers amputated :yakk:

some of may you know this already if you don’t the setting of plaster or paris and other such materials like dental plaster is exothermic (generates heat) – enough heat to burn…
