      Does anyone know of any free programs to merge FLAC tracks into 1 big file ? Have got a problem with end of 1 track/ beginning of another as slight gap in playback..

              oh damn my bad thought I clicked the free box. Looks like u might have to convert it to mp3 then merge then reconvert it if u want to do it for free. dunno

                That defeats the object of a lossless format like FLAC as you’ll loose shit loads of quality when you turn it to mp3 … if you were gonna do this you might as well just work with mp3 in the first place. (And mp3’s suck) 😉

                  I’ve got a FLAC version of Renaissance Mix Collection Vol.1 split in individual tracks and slight gaps in playback between tracks….

                  :cry::cry::cry:

                      What are you playing it back on as some players add gaps depending on the settings

                        Why don’t you just decompress it with the FLAC frontend (which you can d/l an installer for here) to wav and then work with it in wav…

                          Yes, this is the ticket. Went from FLAC to wav to mp3 (320) and there’s no slight jump in between tracks either so sorted.

                          Nice prog psytrance mix btw …

                            I use iDealshare VideoGo to merge FLAC files into one file
                            It can merge FLAC as well as keep the same audio format or merge FLAC to other audio format like merge FLAC to WAV, MP3, M4A etc
