      Wow!

      I went to a presentation about Mark Knopfler last night, presented by Linn audio and Linn recordings (as they are now representing the distribution of Knopfler’s music in high def 24bit audio.).

        Pretty hefty pricetag for a pair of semi-active floorstanders but you should hear them. YOU SHOULD HEAR THEM!

        The entry level versions are £20,000 for a pair!

                    There are loads of Linn speakers on ebay. Just found these old 1980s ones complete with stands for £35, which is an absolute steal and no-ones bidded on them yet! I don’t know if they’re any good but they’ll sound a lot better than any powered computer speakers you could get for the money. I’d seriously consider buying them myself and getting them couriered over to Bristol if I was looking for speakers.
