Got my broadband back to I’ll be back to full time ranting and planting.
I’ve got several small chilli plants sitting waiting to be rehomed as well for those who asked.

( i have always wanted a chilli plant tho)I’ve posted plants before I sually just modify a vhs box for it but before I do that I want to make sure they are completely healthy as I have just moved house with them.
I have given away a load so I only have 3 at the moment but I will have loads more in two weeks time (about 20). So the people who asked first will get these ones and if there are any left over then I’ll post you one.

I scrubbed the roots and repoted them in cactus soil, which I treated with pirahna funghi to stimulate root growth. So hopefully they will pull through and I can’t thank you enough.
JonnyQuest wrote:how have u kept them going? what type of chillis? mine are dead as fuck, tasty thoughThe cuttings I took have been under a spare 250w HPS light for the last wee while to get them nice and healthy and ready for postage. The mother plant they came off though couldn’t be more healthy even at this late stage inthe year she is still fruiting, even on th windowsill. Although I do have several CFL’s timed to come on as it gets dark for supplementary lighting.

So now they have moved house I’m just giving them a day or two to make sure they are ok and haven’t suffered in any way.

January 11, 2008 at 12:05 pm #1151512i finally got round to repotting my spider plants and aloe vera’s last night. The main spider plant my g/f had, had for about 6yrs with out repotting, when i finally got it out of the pot and cut some roots away i realised there wasnt actually any soil left in the pot! Now ive got about 4 different clusters of spider plants, and 3 different aloe veras! My mate gave me this tiny aloe vera sprout about a yr ago, and its since sprouted off about 15/20 seperate shoots. While the massive one i bought from ikea has gone all manky and not really looking that good.

January 11, 2008 at 2:13 pm #1151514Good to know 🙂
Like I said thats only half the current suckers so if you want more just say so. I find it thrives on neglect personally – I repot it once a year and water it once a fortnight in the summer unless it droops badly [once the plants are established ;)]
Mine came at the size I gave you and is now almost a metre in length on some leaves :hiding: which makes it a menace to get round :weee:
