Nah I got a Windows based device, its a bit of a sore subject as I’ve had it for a while and it doesnt work properly so I gave up using it as a phone, and now I’m trialing a samller smart phone, just using the PDA with my home network for browsing in the bath!

June 19, 2006 at 10:31 pm #1079173I actually work in the healthcare industry but I fix computers and/or make sure people are paid and things get paid for as I don’t have the skills or mindset to be able to fix people… (but I have a lot of respect for those who do)
/me would like to point out he is not NHS IT staff/contractor so NIGHT-NURSE doesn’t blame me for NHS IT failures..
I will have nothing to do with windoze/based PDA smartphones, nor France Télécom’s networks…
I once posted to SJ from a PDA the night after a new years day party (had work 6 hours after that). It is hard enough to use the things whilst sober – ISTR the message read out as a mixture of chav-speak/txt abbreviations and gibberish.

sounds perfectly adequate forf posting on SJ ;-)…mine has a full keyboard as well as the on screen job, a few months ago I would have said they were the way to go but I’ve had so many problems with this one, mainly with the phone funtionality that I am no longer a fan. The smart phone (SPV c600) is a far better all round option.

Are you going to work tonight too ?June 22, 2006 at 4:33 am #1079230:horay: last night tonight,
got the weekend off and my friend is getting married so sat will be a lovely day spent with great company sharing in their special day. :alcoholicThen back onto days for a few weeks, will be nice to (hopefully) get my body clock back to ‘normal’ and be awake during the day to enjoy in the sunshine we’ve been having recently! :horay:
June 22, 2006 at 4:38 am #1079209It must be very hard working in shifts..
I hope they have a smashing wedding, good weather, happy friends and a lot of love 🙂 well who doesent need that ?
Good for you having the weekend off,you have worked a lot these days,
must be very lonesome working alone at nightJune 22, 2006 at 4:44 am #1079231looking forwards to sat, hope the weather stays bright!
I don’t work alone, I have one other person with me but because I dont take a break they have mine as well and usually sit in the lounge, whereas I’m in the office- and surf the net!
I love working shifts as it’s all I’ve ever known, don’t think I’m organised enough to work mon – fri 9 -5 as would have to do all my shopping / banking etc in a rush with everyone else, I like to wander into town when everyone’s at work and take my time!
only down side is I miss party’s and events if I dont know in time to swap shifts etc
But its good for me to have found party vibe and nice people to chat to :horay:June 22, 2006 at 4:48 am #1079210I know what you mean,i have never had a job where i havent worked in the weekends,i rather enjoy that too..More fun at the weekends, not all of my kolleges feel that way, soooo they can be a real pain in the but.But i dont care 🙂
June 22, 2006 at 4:57 am #1079232its nice to have some days where its a little more relaxed and we can just chill and chat with the clients rather than therapy therapy therapy
