Being a complete technophobe I can’t comment on the set up but I like the ever handy ‘Pessel and morter’ raaa

Cough….yeh I borrowed my mates camera to take the photos as I’ve nae money left for my own one now 😥 and I only just realised I’d forgotten to “clean up” after myself after he’d left.

Nice desk my dear…..we use one of them on the rig. Very handy.

But come on we want to see it all 😉

Gona stock myself up with a nice dave smith evolver and a couple new midi controllers after I’ve been to the dam. Possibly a machinedrum with my next loan instalment….meaning I’ll need to get myself a bigger desk….and a bigger room.

is what we are currently tormenting though [ a reasonably cheap memory card 4mb [smart media S4M-5] for our 505 would be nice if you know where we can get one ]

[and we have a second desk for the rig ]

these people do them. Although I have seen 2mb ones on ebay for £10 specifically citing the mc-505 in the auction name, so they might be worth checking out.

Raj re the smart media bit.. i had probs gettin them for the RS as they don’t really make the smart media cards much now.. old technology and that but Maplins do a smart media adaptor that takes XD cards which means u get more memory.. the adaptor is a tenner and the XD cards aren’t too bad either

we think the 505 may be a cranky schmuck wrt to that and losing a years work once was enough :hopeless: in fact I have barely touched it since :hopeless:

I’ve had a nuo 2 since they came out. If all you want it a simple two channel mixer then its the muts nuts.

All I wanted was something durable for parties that sounds nice….and mines been dropped on concrete, filled with dust, filled with booze and dropped down stairs and it still works perfectly.

we have an old dinasour called a bandridge – that one is as tough as old boots too [have never seen another or found anyone who had one]

still going 12 years on raaaraaaraaaraaa but we use a djm600 these days [unless the dj has annoyed me ]

we have custom rewired the bandridge to bypass the eqs so that incorrigible knob [twiddlers] think they are using them but the signal comes into the rig flat :groucho::groucho::groucho::groucho:
