      THE RETURN OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA’S MOST LOVED DAYTIME DANCE MUSIC EVENT!

      Come join us in a day of FREE music, dancing, and family fun! We will be accepting donations throughout the day for our friends at Sweet Relief Musicians Fund. A little information about them and their mission statement:

      “Sweet Relief Musicians Fund provides financial assistance to all types of career musicians who are struggling to make ends meet while facing illness, disability, or age-related problems. In other words, Healing Musicians in Need. We all have received so much out of music, it’s time to give a little back!”

      Location: Pico Rivera Sports Arena, 11003 East Rooks Rd. Pico Rivera, CA

      Time: Sunday, October 23 · 11:00am – 7:30pm

      Admission: Fresh Days is *FREE to enter, there are three ways to gain entrance:

      1. **RSVP online for will call (guarantees entrance for a *$3.00 surcharge) http://fla.vor.us/wafform.aspx?_act=eventview&_pky=108069

      2. **Pickup a hard ticket at the following locations TBA this week (guarantees entrance for a *$3.00 surcharge)

      3. Show up day of and wait in line on a first come first serve basis (FREE of any surcharge). NOTE: Ticket holders and will call will gain priority entrance. ( If we hit capacity we will hold this line and allow a one in one out entry process)

      **RSVP online and/or getting a hard ticket are the only ways toguarantee entry, if we “sell out” before the event, we will notify all our fans immediately.
      IMPORTANT: Tickets will only be available at the door if we do not hit capacity in advance:

      *Surcharge fees are generated by ticketing companies and outlets and are standard with all ticketing.

        i love that! i wonder if it would work in the uk, im doing a night for muscians in need…………… weve ran out of drugs & booze and if we do not get more money im gonna have to sighn on, or worse get a 9-5!!!!! ahhhhhhhh!

        on a serious note, what kind of music is this?? whats the illegal rave scene like? whats the music of choice?

          I’m not a expert on the US scene (banned from there due to drugs criminal record anyway) but I think its mixed genre electronic dance music. No different to a similar event here in Blighty.

          The charity caters for all musicians, whether its guitar based or dance music. A big reason they need a musicians benefit fund much more than we do is they don’t have NHS like we do in the UK – if a performer gets ill (often not even from drugs but simply due to the effects of a high stress occupation or just age related – consider that many dance music pioneers are age 40-50+ now) they may not have sufficient medical insurance due to not having a steady income…
