My personal favourite – The Who. I fucking love that stuff. I remember as a lid singing “…hope I die before I get old”. Not so sure about that now tho..

I wonder what the remaining members of that band think when they sing it, they are old enough to be our parents :laugh_at::laugh_at:

hmm, what will happen to all the older ravers? or maybe they have mostly ended up on here lol 🙂

Well one of ’em (Keith Moon) did die before he got old, i spose,
And another one died recently (Entwhistle) but he musta been pushing 60 by then.
And another one was in the paper recently about child porn, I think…

when i used to play guitar, and spend most saturday afternoons perstering fat norman to let me play the really nice ones in his shop, or to give a discount on something, they had the equivalent to a swear jar. playing “smoke on the water” in the shop cost £1… the most expensive ‘swear’ of the lot :groucho:

Although I was there in 1990 too, I was still quite young so Raving was my first real musical passion. Before then I was into Musical Youth and moved on to other classic hip-hop/electro. I was never into metal, rock or pop.

Nonetheless I now like to chop it ALL up in the mix. For a taster check out the TekStep Mix on my MySpace page. I have uploaded it as a video but there are no images to go with it.

I used to love that it was all called hardcorejungletechno back in the day, but I also really like the diversity that is available these days. One big rig with 10,000 ravers is truly a sight to see, but then again so is 10,000 rigs and one raver in front of each (anyone who went to Steart will know what I mean) can be just as amazing.

PS. are you the same Globaloon who lives on South West Underground?

                              It’s goin just fine.

Had bank holliday monday off. Missed what looked like a good breakz night in the cavern on friday, but made up for it by going out for a lovely meal on saturday.

                              Thanks for asking.

What nights do you do/go to in exeter then?

Are you anything to do with reflex or beatz n bobz?
