New tune from me. It’s not been mixed 100% properly yet and still needs a few tiny tweaks b4 I get it mastered, but is pretty much finished. :weee:
Any feed back/sugestions are very welcome.

sweet, ill have to rinse it out on my monitors when i get back from scotland before i can give you a real critique but sounds great on my crappy work speakers 😉
March 11, 2011 at 2:54 pm #1236166ahh wish my work puter would plat the game! doh! ill check back when the dust settles after the weekend, what type of music is it mate? do you release on any labels etc?
March 11, 2011 at 2:58 pm #1236158It’s Kinda rolling(?), dark Drum and Bass. I’m thinking of setting up my own lable soon … but as of yet no releaces. 🙂

ahh wicked, well ive jam’s techno mix to listen to & this now aswell! woop! what do you make your tunes on?
how come you get em masterd then, do you play them out? or just savingthe material up so when you do release it you can release the lot?
questions questions! har!
March 11, 2011 at 3:29 pm #1236153is okay… personally i reckon you could chop the vocals up a bit, maybe put some more effects on them or make them bit glitchier or cut them up a bit maybe? sounds a bit flat just the same thing going round on a loop. also the tune sounds good, but doesnt really progress much from the initial 32 bars or whatever… still way better than i could manage.. also bear in mind im not really into dnb and lets face it, its not psytrance is it?! 😉
think that was constructive.. 🙂

I don’t normaly get them mastered … but as I’m planning on starting a record lable I’m getting this one done (It’s also so I can see a song through from start to total finished article at lease once)
I used cubase + plugins (mainly massive) and for this one I rewired reason into cubase to use thor and another of it’s plugins.

Yeah your right about all of that really. Much what I had expected as critasism. I’ve been working on this tune for a while now and just kinda wanted to get it finished so probably cut short what I could of done. Might have another twiddle and make some variations along the way. I think once I’ve nailed certain tecniques that I’m working on getting right then I’ll be able to make tunes more complex and progressive easyer. Atm I’m working hard on just getting them sounding right.

It’s actualy something I’ve been wanting to do for some time now. 😉 may be one of my next few tunes as i’ve been wanting to make a full lenth track that’s not d+b for a while now … psy D+B is kinda half not D+B lol
March 11, 2011 at 9:03 pm #1236155Sounds good but not my thang TBH matey,
so not sure if I can constructively criticize,
as I dont really get how you do it all etc, more bass needed for me or ‘heavier bass’ , but I like house, disco and techno rather than that sort a stuff- so I may well be off the mark, but keep it up – sounds like a brilliant way of spending your time !!:love:
March 11, 2011 at 9:35 pm #1236162more bass is allways good (almost) 😉 (alltho there should be a fair bit of very low freq bass there that normal speakers might not pick up on)
March 11, 2011 at 9:54 pm #1236156Ah prob me puter, its pretty tinney at best of times 😉
March 12, 2011 at 10:55 am #1236164youve come a long way on the percussion front 🙂 your bass was always cool though.
loving that sample
March 12, 2011 at 12:34 pm #1236163Thanks man. 😀
