Yep, my hubby positively hates them!

What do you mean by style (sci fi, biography, etc or something else?)? Probably an easy question but I studied English litt (a looong time ago)after which everything got complicated…

It does complicate stuff, too much analysis!

I like biographies in particular. Not sure why, I guess I’m just nosey. 😉 But I don’t think there is any particular type I don’t like. Books are nice!

I often find myself doing this when a wee bit intoxicated, start thinking of words and how to spell them and blah blah blah!!

If you like biographies Meep, have you read James Frey, million little peices? Brilliant!

A friend (Ken) lives just down the street from her in Anjuna in season(she stays all year long now i think). He put me on to it, says you could see her wandering around with the original manuscript, trying to score a hit.
Its so sad as when you read the book you see all she has slowly frittered away for coke/smack.

Hvis du har en extra udgave af en Engelsk ordbog vil jeg gerne låne den,den koster ca. 600 d.kr at købe her

Yep, it was brilliant but it has since come up that it is fiction rather than what he’s actually gone through. A real pity as I remember thinking ‘wow’ at the time. Perhaps it was too impressive to have been real. Pity though.

Sorry forgot to put author down!! Had it reccomended to me as like these sort of ‘autobiographies’, as I find the ‘usual’ ones a bit boring

its by Nick Charles, who ended up a homeless alcoholic drinking meths, he managed to sober up and he went on to set up the Chaucer clinic and has an MBE for all his work, (I got it from Borders)
