I think this may be a bloke thing 😉 – the sites are designed so you are bombarded with special offers, recipe ideas etc and lots of this stuff seems to be targeted at women and/or cleverly marketed, it is “closer” to you than the displays in the supermarkets and they can get more info.

I suspect blokes tend to overlook this stuff and just think with their stomachs (well I do anyway) and when buying toiletries / household items are less swayed by brands/choices (who on earth needs stuff like 20 different sorts of fabric conditioner anyway?)
