I was wandering around outside at nite whilst on the phone at the place where I was living in Kuching(which was an old Chinese school with the playgrounds)when I stopped an looked down at wot I thought was a piece of wet rope(it had been raining)but it was moving YES BIG SNAKE!and another time (still in Kuching)in the city rite by the Hilton hotel funny enough I spied a large(about 2-2.5ft) monitor type lizard trying to cross the road and it got clipped by a car so I rushes to its aid and grabs it by its tail to throw it to safety upon which it vomits a smaller lizard(yes its true)and promptly bites me on the hand drawing blood and a scream(a girlish scream according to the local I was with)causing me to launch it onto the grass where it then ran to a drain hole and vanished,and this is the city and civlization wot was it going to be like in the wilds I wondered.
