    Cant say I could agree with that simply because if your new you will have learn either way anyway – I know software so found using a korg drum machine tricky

    and the software is literally based on the hardware , so theyre very similar with the software being more flexible/easily editable in my opinion

    I can see the advantage in sound quality but invest in a usb/midi controller and it is much easier to use software

    Cant justify the high cost of hardware to a non studio enviroment/ newbie
