As strange as it may seem for me to say this I think in this case the cops weren’t harsh enough. They should have put a full closure on this under the 2005 Licensing Act (protecting children from harm) and sent a press release to the Evening Star and EADT explaining what had happened, and thus forcing the promoters to debate on a public platform the events leading up to these incidents.

I like nightlife and music but also have to pay in my Council Tax and other taxes to clear up if things go pear-shaped…
