Some cats (but by no means all) can be “bribed” into posing for photographs with food items.

Using a tripod and remote release (some cameras can be triggered from the USB cable) is a big help when photographing the cat.

It can be one of the hardest animals to photograph for its size and on a par with wild creatures in their natural habitat.
