welcome back 🙂 good stuff, I tried a bit of that myself at age 16 (I found a ancient analogue synth and a valve operated Leslie speaker in a storecupboard) but had to use things like ancient Philips tape recorders and spools of tape for loops (that had been abandoned in 1980s) as there weren’t any affordable sequencers for high schools at that time (1988)… I did actually get a decent “acid house” sound out of the kit though…
PS: Its worth getting decent UPS units with AVR to protect PC’s regularly used for music, work etc. They aren’t that expensive (at least in Europe, and we have 230V and stricter wiring regulations). The electric company does not always send the best quality power down the wires…
