Well to be honest back then, and even now, it’s all experimenting. I’m no audiophile just yet, maybe in some alternate universe where I would have continued down that path lol but you know I was just a kid then I just screwed around with some av/3.5mm stuff and had a compressor or processor or something, like those old reverbs, to alter the sound, and screwed with that, and basically I just got some cheapo stuff just to toy around with the sound, it never got serious. But I got my music back and I just listened and for some off reason felt like I could do that again, and better as a adult. And I get what you are saying, I lived in the time of the PC, it wasn’t big or advanced yet but still, they were around. It was really just me and another would-be teen, he was 16 and went by iRabbot, which I actually came up with. He stole my music basically, just like a 16 year old stealing a 14 year old freshmen’s stuff only it had a bit more sentamental value to it then I thought at the time. Actually, I plan to get a Sony DSR 1800A and one of those Sound Processors again, and of course some kind of laptop or get my PC fixed as I am not a mixer or turntables kinda guy. All the stuff I plan to get has it’s own power supply, and the Sound Processor actually is suppose to be able to be used on PC just for the hell of it if you want, if you run it through. All of this is just speculation for different methods of making music and getting better sound and ways to make them. Someone told me a long time ago that synth is important but I just don’t hear it most times, not important to me really. Is there a cheap way to limit power to both of those things? The Sony DSR 1800A and the Audio Processor? A cheap way? If I get all that stuff I’m getting it’s gonna drain my wallet.
