There’s nothing to be embarrassed about mate, it’s a scary thing when the people who raised you have health issues. After what you’ve gone through I would find it worrying if you weren’t concerned! I’m really glad she’s ok, and the only thing I can offer as advise is to not fear for the future, but embrace it. She’s having operations to help her get well, not the other way round. It’s a shame she’s had to have them in the first place, but it’s good that she is.
