i understand a lot of it is a joke but i believe negativity joking or not over and over will and does have a negative effect on people.

if it was socially normal to say ‘hello mate’ to everyone in the street with a smile and if you didn’t say it back you’d be concerned for their mood at that point or think they are possibly nasty people don’t you think we’d be happier? (going off topic here but the amount of times on sj i’ve heard people be called cunts for nothing and it’s not even funny it’s pathetic).
