the big irony is the “cool” jobs often end up like that (like when I was working in the TV/media industry) – whilst the “boring” jobs (such as being a Civil Servant and in recent times a Finance and Technology manager for a small private healthcare company) are less stressful. it confuses me as well but I think its if people think your job is boring and tedious they don’t want to compete with you for it 😉
