And as for God not liking raves etc – you have a very limited view of Him. My idea of Christianity is ‘free’ – not bound by legalistic rules of organized religion. If Jesus were alive on the Earth today He would LOVE to party – just no drugs, illicit sex etc. Most of that description you posted fits very much as far as DBC goes – in fact, as the ‘old fogies’ me and Chris left early – everyone else stayed around till prolly the wee hours! And at no time was there ANY asking for money! Sometimes I really wish you could see just what it is really like, I think you’d be surprised.
