Yeah, didn’t the French cyclist team go on strike the other year during the Tour de France over drug testing? I seem to remember quite a lot of people at the time being amused and amazed that they would strike over it; unless, of course, they were guilty of taking performance enhancing drugs.
I’ve never quite understood what the fuss is about in snooker though. I mean, if Kirk Stevens or Silvino Francisco were coked-up during matches I would have thought it would have made them worse players. Then again, is snooker really a sport, or just a pleasant way of passing an hour or two at the club?
