UPDATE!
Sorry for the lack of updates! As you may know we have been VERY busy since last summer. Our 1st release came out on Badaboom (an offshoot of Freakaboom ) and received pleasing reviews and DJ chart placings. All of this has made us very happy. :)
We are currently locked away working on our next releases and our new live show which should return in the summer so keep your eyes and ears peeled.

Objects are a Reading-based live act, playing predominantly breakbeat. They have been working together for some time and adopted the name Objects in 2000.
Recently they have shared a stage with Hybrid, Rennie Pilgrem, Hyper, Krafty Kuts and DJ Craze. Last year gigs included Ronnie Size, Fabio and Grooverider. They have a wide range of musical interests and do not see themselves as a breakbeat-only act. Most of the songwriting is handled by studio wiz Bobule, founder of the group. His musical interests range from Frank Zappa to the Orb, Coldcut and TCR.
Drude, formerly a techno DJ, is the second member. His interests include Warp Records, Speedy J, lots of nasty techno and again, Frank Zappa. Bobule and Drude were responsible for the first Objects performance back in 1999, doing a techno set on local radio station 107.7 Fm.
The most recent addition is DJ Haze. Haze has been DJing since 1989 and is a resident at Cryonix, The Boutique(Reading) and West Pacific in Amsterdam. Musical influences include Terminalhead, Sasha and Digweed, Hyper and, suprise suprise, Frank Zappa. He enhances the Objects live experience with his scratching, as well as songwriting in the studio.
Although Objects have concentrated on live performances in the past, future plans include single releases and they have had strong interest from some key labels on the breakbeat scene.
