An Incident has taken place

Feb 16th 2002

Doris a long serving member of the party community was brutally attacked in London! Although Doris had already lost her arms through years of travelling and partying, she still looked better than Kylie in the buff.

Saturday was no different, dressed practically for the night ahead in her usual minimal attire she took up her favourite position on the stack and began to get in to the swing of things.

THEN SUDDENLY from nowhere she was grabbed, had her head smashed, possibly several times and discarded on the centre of the dance floor as if she was just a piece of junk.

Is this any sort of way to treat loyal, friendly, female party animal?

I DON'T THINK SO.

Doris is now in "Inventive Care", where a new head is being cloned from a child's toy and cross bred with an egg. Her condition is stable and static as usual.

We are offering a substantial reward for any information on this attack. Information leading to a reenact-ment of this event [with Doris being played by the suspect/murderer] will be rewarded in true party style.

Please help, it's a sad day when a friend of ours for four years is attacked, unprovoked and the attacker is able to walk free. Pictures will soon be released of the damage.

Visit www.komotion.org next Monday for photos.

Editorial:

Whilst not quite as alarming as it seems at the outset [Doris is *not* any sort of human or animal species] - its quite a serious message - smashing buildings is bad enough, stealing and destroying rigs' decor is IMO totally unacceptable...

Plus everyone at J10 / Komotion had a soft spot for Doris, it was thought of as bad form even to throw her back in the van roughly at packing up time! Yes, this may seem like strange for so many young [and not so young] men to act in this way over half a shop mannequin [!] - but if you've met any of the J10/Fushion/Komotion crew you'd probbaly understand ;)
