Yeah well done again on a succesful night. We actually had 3 live streams going off on level 1 yesterday. 'Partyvibe', 'UnNamed' from my house and 'Under The Influence' from brighton. I was impressed how well it performed bearing in mind we had up to 22 simultaneous listeners at one point.

Partyvibe peaked at 12 listeners from what i remember. Excellent for a first stream. Keep it up. Looking forward to the next one!

excellent stuff..

would be even better if reception wasn't tied to a PC and broadband (like so you could listen whilst chilling out in a field etc)

here's hoping the mainstream commercial radio groups slowly implode through their own greed and mismanagement (BBC is already pressing the self-destruct button on themselves) and Ofcom realise the demand for decent community radio...

as technology improves theres no reason now why there should not be loads of real local media instead of the corporate formulaic shite that is broadcast at the moment - they powers that be can't argue there's no space on the air any more as theres stacks free on DAB radio now..

Yeah it would be great to get access on to DAB for furthering listeners. I imagine the licensing fees would be ridiculous though. I had a quick look on how you could go about it but theres not that much info out there. Would be interesting...

Yeah, I enjoyed it!!

I'm laying off the mic next time though. It seemed every time I decided to speak, my tounge wouldn't quite comply with what I was trying to say.

Looking forward to what we have got next!

its can be difficult at the start (I did the announcements for VFR, a legal radio project me and most of the old J10/Freestate lot were involved in) but you sounded OK...

the trick is to be natural and fair enough if you put in some jokes and banter but don't try to be johnny vaughan...

nor all that crap they have on the garage/grime stations with the rude boy MC chat (can't blame ofcom for shutting them down TBH!)

one amusing memory of being on a legal station is searching out totally obscure regional traffic problems (such in poxy little villages in the region hardly anyone had heard of) so I could legitimately turn on the "traffic priority" flag on our transmitter which makes peoples car radios switch to your channel!

I think there's an Objects set from VFR in our mp3s section... :)
