They don't seem to be much worse than my own pet cats I had in Reading, I would have rehomed them if I still lived there! seems a shame they have to be locked up but I suppose if they are robbing other cats of their food (its also seems from the tone of the article they are bullying dogs as well!) and busting into other folks houses that must be why..

the paper meant it as a joke, only dogs can get ASBOs (but they are called Dog Control Orders).

I don't have cats of my own any more but some visit my garden and if they do not share the space and bully each other I give a long warning meow (I have been meowing at cats since 2001 with some success) :laugh_at:

I suspect also that they aren't "real" Bengals but ones where a F1-F3 Bengal queen accidentally fell pregnant by a random tomcat - a proper Bengal is about £500 or more for a kitten and most people what have one would pay the vet for behaviour therapy rather than hand it in to the cats home - I think as they don't look "posh" enough they have been rehomed to familes what don't know how to properly look after exotic/oriental cats which are very intelligent.

Ah, but I checked the laws out and I can only be busted if the cats complain of being alarmed or harrassed :laugh_at:

I did get caught by a family giving a short "greeting" meow to their kitten (I always took that route and had befriended it by doing so) and sheepishly cycled away, but as I looked back the whole family, kids and parents alike had started meowing at the kitten :laugh_at:

Also I have seen several admissions the world over on quite serious natural history forums of folks meowing at theirs and others cats.

And I could even play the race card, meowing contests are encouraged at all Malaysian cat shows..

try your loopholes and escape tactics all you like gl, if i get footage of you repeatedly meowing at cats, you're goin to the nice place with the men in white coats, padded walls and rice pudding in plastic bowls

i can get a statement out of the cats dont worry. im from grimsby, we have fish. bit of bribery never goes amiss.

Northern and Scottish cats don't meow as much as Southern ones anyway because of Scottish wildcat genes (Raj adopts half wild-kittens which english zoologists claim is impossible)..

I was thinking of buying that nepactalone to see if I could start a cat army where I work - I've already got one recruit so far and there's two others but they are scaredy cats..

its not an offence down South, I'm only recruiting grown cats and not kittens..

Actually the crazy cat couple (husband and wife team) is just down the road from me :devil_wag

we could have a Northern / Scottish cat army vs a Southern cat army (Raj already has the Scots regiment) - if Northern kitties don't mew as much you can bring along you brass bands and pipers to make it fair and we can make a huge din at each other at Cumbria and Newcastle...

all the religious folks, Christians, Jews and Muslims alike would hear the trumpets sounding and creatures howling, would think it is their rapture/second coming etc and it might make them even chill out a bit as they are supposed to be all ready for judgement and thus supposed to behave proper, Muslims are supposed to comfort mewing cats as thats what Mohammed did - so we could have a battle for peace..

And make bare cash supplying accomodation to the Japanese and americans to watch this spectacle :laugh_at:

I would happily rehome that pair - they sound like a right pair of rascals raaa and would be a great laugh....{mind you I stay in the sticks so all that frustrated energy could be rechannelled into rodent extermination}
