Lol. Got It All Sorted, I Work For A Sound Nd Light Hire Company and all the equipment is under there name!! SO wen i do throw a partie, nd if it gets confiscated, simply the hire company rings dem up and say we want our speakers nd stuff back nd the police cant do nutin!!, spent years building and ive learnt from everyones mistakes!!, this time the partie will be somewhere dat the police will have a huge task trying to get to it and close it down!!!,, If u come den ull see!!!

I know It may seem a waste to u, but in the uk speakers and pa are sooooo dam expensive, but like me i went to lithunia with my company and they will custom make you any speakers or amp with pratically umlimitless power potential for cheap as chips!!!, i picked up most of the void nd cerwin vega there and shipped it back over, even got them to sort out the voltage issue so speakers nd amps are so not expensive u just may have to look further afield!!!

It doesn't really work quite like that, but good luck, Kit. Sounds like a lot of money if things do go wrong so I hope they don't.

I don't know what sound equipment is good these days, Biotech and elretardo know much more than me about that but I do know a fair bit about the law and how it is enforced, from two decades of hard experience, plus 4 years in Government office as a Civil Servant..
I can't believe Kit mentioned any of his plans on this heavily monitored forum, or that he is prepared to sacrifice what could be a dream job as well as his colleagues jobs for what could just be a couple of weekends fun before it all goes tits up.
Kit - times have changed. the cops can do much worse now to a hire company, they can put it out of business especially when they work with Revenue and Customs, the local Councils and all sorts of other government agencies.
They could make you look to the whole of EA like criminal scum, even accuse you of exploiting young people in this country and exploiting foreigners - they could cost you a lot of other business (I would expect a sound and light company in EA also does stuff like young farmers discos etc).If I was Kits boss and knew he had posted this I wouldn't fire him but I'd have a very long chat about the risks and issues (and probably help him try and put on a decent event).
For £21 you can get a license and do it all properly and still have events as good as a rave - I've been to a fair few. I've been to parties in Suffolk where the cops have left them alone because folks have done things the "right way". but if you do it the wrong way you can lose not just fuckloads of money but your liberty and future career prospects. I know prison ain't as harsh as it once was but any form of criminal record fucks you over in later life, if I didn't have the family connections I wouldn't be allowed to have the management job I do today because of my non-blank CRB.
And if Kit is the boss of his company I'd implore him tothink long and hard about the risks he is taking with his livelihood and his future reputation.

Pratically things are going good, really good, 2 massive double bass bins added adding another 6k making the monster an entire 41k!!!! We had a private party a few weeks ago and it was nearly blew down the barn we were testing in! were looking to throw a public warm up party on new year if nuffin else is going on, but now looking to open the summer with a full-blown party with everything weve got!!, we are now starting to paint it all with a white base coat, then a freind of a freinds is coming in to design cumstom decal allover it!! So its gunna be a party to remember-- and its gunna be on the Norfolk/Suffolk so its gunna a DIRTY STOMPIN AFFAIR!!!!
Mixes From Me And The Crew will be uploaded soon so u can have a listen of whts gunna be pumping out next year!!!! Also im looking for a few more DJs who can spin decks or MP3--We need sum dirty Psytrance and Electro also looking for a couple of nutty junglists to join us!!!

if you are gonna wait till next summer anyway you're better off just contacting the Council and getting a license sorted out (unless you are doing that anyway)
Even more so if your cousin is a copper as if you did an illegal event they could use your previous post as evidence as a case for busting them for "misconduct in a public office".

in most other parts of the country (including Suffolk and Essex) what you have said on this forum would be enough to get you and your cousin investigated.
from the way you've written it is appears that you are planning to collude with your cousin, who is a serving Norfolk Constabulary officer, to commit a variety of crimes.
I've heard that family values are strong in this region, but are you really that close your cousin is willing to risk their long term career just for a weekends fun? its not so much the cops you have to watch for but landowners, journalists and even people from rival crews. any of these can dob you in for this event and you have given a lot of evidence.
A lot of randoms read this site as well from East Anglia, there are plenty who are angry enough as it is that illegal raves still happen and who would certainly not agree with the concept of one crew being allowed to break the law with impunity and even worse if a police officer is collaborating with them doing so.
yet you could simply apply for a license, your event would probably go ahead if its well run and your cousin could get brownie points for "stopping an illegal rave but allowing a safe well run one to happen."

not strictly true. I've been to legal events in EA in recent times and they have been just as fun if not more so than the last set of outdoor free parties, plus when people don't have to worry about getting rigs or tunes confiscated or being arrested they can put more effort into it.
the unlicensed party scene in East anglia got stopped because people fucked it up for themselves.
Its now time for everyone to accept what has happened and move on, and its a good thing IMO that there are people around like your cousin in the Police service.
Its worth also remembering that if your cousin got put into the anti-rave squad because he was a decent copper, that the rest of society genuinely feels unlicensed raves cause a serious and lasting problem in this region.

I was glad Kit told the truth in the end and has decided to do the right thing as the other way would really have gone tits up for a lot of people - I'd gain no pleasure whatsoever in hearing not just another young person sent to HMP but also a cop being done for corruption as thats a loss to the taxpayer of all the public money used to train him!
There's no shame whatsoever in doing a legal event, particularly in the wake of problems with illegal events here and respect is also due to Kit's cousin for helping him out, although I would hope this is in the context of Norfolk Constabulary being available to help all East Anglian crews put on legal events rather than favouring one crew..
