The HTC Dream (also marketed as T-Mobile G1 in Europe and the US or Era G1 in Poland) is an Internet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet)-enabled 3G (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3G) smartphone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smartphone) with an operating system designed by Google (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google) and hardware designed by HTC (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTC_Corporation). It was the first phone to the market that uses the Android (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Android_%28operating_system%29) mobile device platform [3] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-Mobile_G1#cite_note-HTC-2) The phone is part of an open standards (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_standards) effort of the Open Handset Alliance (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_Handset_Alliance).[4] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-Mobile_G1#cite_note-NYT200808-3)
Its basically in my oppinion a better version of the Iphone yeah sure it has a few drawbacks, its not as sleek as the Iphone and its internal memory isnt as big, but 80% of the apps and games on it are FREE.
