View Full Version : How long does it take guys to get over a grudge?

2 years ago, the guy I like judged me over something he thought I did. I'm not really sure he had a grudge though. And we were never friends.
I didn't see him last year, but now, I'm seeing him again and I wanna talk to him, because it's been a year since he's seen me and I've changed(physically and mentally) and matured, and I want him to see that.
But I'm scared that:
A) He will still judge me and have a grudge against me.
B) I will try talking to him and he will just ignore me.
C) I will talk to him and he will be receptive and talk back, but it will be a little awkward(which means we might not talk again).
So how long do guys hold grudges for? Do you think he see's me the same way he did 2 years ago, even though enough time has passed?
personally i never hold grudges, im never even angry at someone for more than like 10 minutes. im weird like that.
tbh, if you dont speak to him you wont get to know what would of happened.
if you speak to him and it doesnt work out how you want it to then at least you know the score.

Takes me a while to get over a grudge. Take this one time for instance.
I was invited over to a local professors house to assist him on an experiment he was undertaking.
It was all going fine, He asked me to film his experiment with a camcorder which i duly obliged. The next thing i knew mad terrorists came hurtling along and accused the Doc of not making them a A bomb which he told them he would.
Next thing i know they shot him and then chased after me. I managed to give them the slip by driving in the Doc's car.
I got up to 88mph and then the next thing i know i was transported back to 1955.
I had a few near misses but then managed to transport myself back to 1985 where i destroyed the time machine.
I then became aware that i should of aimed for 2009 so i had to live out extra years on my live to get to this date.
So yeah i have held a grudge for some time.

and with regards to the original post ... BLAAAAAAA every one is diferant .... don't be so narrow minded as to think there is a set time what people hold grudges for .... depends what happened and who the person is .... JUST FUCKING TALK TO HIM AND FIND OUT HOW HE FEELS ... cos all this pontificating will drive you .. and me and probably every one else who has to listen to it compleatly mad ..... you won't compensate for what you are lacking by talknig to us ... alltho i am glad to try help ... unless you help your self and actualy go and talk to this guy then there's absolutly nothing I or anyone else can do .. just go and talk to him and confess your undying love or something ... i dunno .. anything plz ? :cry:

No, actually tankgirl, this is different. You say that these are like my other posts, but if you KNEW THAT, you would know now that this post is different.
My previous posts have been about not seeing him again until next summer. Well guess what? Last month, I found out that he's not going back to college, but going to community college. And guess what? I'm at the community college too, finishing high school early. And guess what, I see him everyday!
So ABSOLUTELY NOT is this post like my other ones.
My previous posts were about us with the future. This post is with us now.
If your sick of my posts, then stop responding to them.

Man I can hold a grudge for time.
I still can't speak to my ex because she took my hash because she thought it made me boring. Then left me alone in my house in a town in the back of beyond with no fucking hash with no money to get into town or get more.
Anyway that sucked the fun out of Banjo Kazooie and XIII to the point that I never wanted to play the game again.
So really it's not the hash that was the problem it was the fact that she ruined two perfectly good games for me. That was alos 7 years ago and I still go mad when I see her.
