I am having my wisdom tooth out next saturday morning. Thank god i'm being sedated cos i chipped the tooth last weekend and it'll be a mofo for em to remove.

On one hand i am looking forward to it cos this tooth looks fucking horrible.

On the other hand i am dreading it slightly.

Has anyone on here ever been had any dental work whilst sedated?

Need to know whether or not i will actually be kosher, last time i had a tooth out i felt all of it cos the dentist fucked up the injections. :cry: :hopeless:

I've had teeth removed whilst awake and put to sleep

my lovely sister smashed my head on the skirting board whilst we were fighting and my gums went black - dislodged teeth - removed,

teeth removed whilst awake - dentist ended up with one foot on the arm of the chair having to crack my roots as the bugger wer'nt coming out...

I personally dont mind the removal its the drilling of fillings, luckily only got 2 or 3, but am putting off going as wisdon teeth really problematic and am thinking they will want to remove them to....

I'm being sedated intravenously TG. Have you had this or know of it's effects? I've been told that it'll fuck me up to the point that i won't actually realise the work being done on me.

I hope that's the case cos i have a proper deep seated phobia with regards to dental work. Specially teeth pulling.

yeah cliffy i've had it done before it's proper good you don't feel a thing get super high and they give you some potent painkillers after and you'll be floating in an opiate bliss for two days until the pills run out

....oh and be careful of having a dry socket afterwards, if you start to get extreme pain, worse than toothache then get to your dentist as it will need an antiseptic dressing to help it heal.

Well the last tooth i had pulled was back when i was younger.

The dentist fucked up the amount i should of had to numb my gums and when he pulled the tooth i felt all of it. It was the worse pain i have ever felt and needless to say scarred me for life.

Cheers as well Sweetntasty, I have been told that i can't smoke for a week afterwards as it might infect the hole. Well wish i had had the fillings back when i was meant to. None of this would be happening now. oh well.

I did start to get para near the end of my toking days. It wasn't paranoid in the conventional sense though.

It was more a case of feeling like i was gonna die everytime i got stoned which wasn't the one at all.

In the end i just packed it in and haven't really touched it in about 6-7 years. So glad i stopped smoking that shite.

Well we're all different aren't we, Different takes on it all.

But if i am going partying then i would prefer to do on some banging mdma k etc. It enhances the night for me and is a sort of release from day to day life, ie working and that sort of shit.

I have other ways of having fun that don't involve rugs but when it comes to parties, That is when i get like to get as fucked up as i can.

Although my party days are somewhat of a rarity these days. Haven't been fucked up (I'm talking party fucked tho, not including beer and coke here) in a long time.

He said as soon as they inject the stuff through your hand you start to feel it and then suddenly you come round about half hour later.
