Totally agree with this bloke. The reaction of some yanks has been totally overblown and absolutely ridiculous.
Considering the USA's actions in the past and present i think they (the moaners) should actually shut the fuck up and get over it.

agreed. it's fuck all to do with them. and so it should remain - the courts should not be put under pressure by governments, they need to remain independent to ensure we have a fair justice system.
whether you agree with the idea behind compassionate release or not, the question of the mans guilt is still in doubt in my opinion. the evidence was by no means conclusive.
also, even if he did play a part - why have we just chosen to blame one man? it's one of the biggest cover-ups ever.
1. we have no idea what the motivation was.
2. this was a highly planned operation, it is not the work of one man.
3. i strongly believe that we DO have an idea of who and why, but deals have been struck and cover-ups have been made.

I'm glad it happened as it shows Obama we aren't just the USA's lapdog even if we are still reluctantly backing the US military campaigns...

franky boil was amking me laugh about this .. going on about the fact that scotland dont export ne thing really ... and how there's only 3 hagises sold in alabama per year .. :laugh_at:
