Firstly I apologise if this has already been covered.
I am currently in a debate over a silly comment that I've just read elsewhere of a young girl saying that it's un natural for a young guy to be with an older woman.
After reading lots of comments from young guys about the benefits of being with an older woman I'm wondering what the views are from people on here.
Do you think it's un natural?
Is age just a number to you as I think it is.
Your comments are much appreciated.

Might just be a question for the boys, but I think some young men find older women fascinating :weee:
We're over the baby period of life, we have more experience in different ways and I think younger men like someone to "take care" of them, feel safe and we have things to teach them (he just said behind me :good_evil)
But I would too like to know what it is because I think it's strange having a younger boyfriend.. Why does he want me when he can have a GF his own age or younger :you_crazy
Think men are just strange :laugh_at:

i think its normally normal for an age difference between about 10 years but more is creepy i think
i think age is just a number but when the difference is that big its not just a number..
hard to explain with a bangin headache!

Now why is over 10 years creepy to you josh?
Do you think if say the woman was young looking for her age and the guy looked older it wouldn't matter if the age gap was more than 10 years?

Josh, you wait till you get in ur 20s. I think it is very common for guys in their 20s to go out with women in their 30s, or 40s.

Just reading that post has given me a banging headache
Women dating younger men has become much more common simply cos a lot of people their age, whatever it may be but for arguements sake we'll say over 30, have married off or are in a long term relationship. So a filtering down the ages begins...

Older women can nagg too much and are usually after someone who they can settle down with so the pressures on from the start.

its very common from the 20s until old age - women live longer as well, and on the "alternative" communities men often lead high-risk lifestyles, so there are often a lot of widows, some as young as their mid 30s...

younger men- never really seen the appeal myself - may do when I'm older
but me bro's 4 long term relationships all been with older women, dont know if there any specific rationale - as they all been fit and not looked their age and I dont think he always knew they were older til after a while (esp as one lied for ages or.... didnt tell the truth :laugh_at: til he wisked her off to NY and he saw her passport)

nah he didnt give a fuck how old she was as he liked her, she also had previously dropped the bombshell that her 'mate' who he'd met her with in the pub was infact her daughter :laugh_at:

Though I don't think age is a big matter but i think, we should see long term.
Eg. age gap 10 years.
When the wife is 50+, reaching menopause and slowing down. The husband is only 40, still excited for sex. During that time, if the wife might not be able to satisfy the husband, he could go out to look for another person.
But I do applaud younger men for able to get an older women. It just show that the guy is very confident and has high self esteem in winning a woman's heart. coz most guys (esp japanese) prefer younger girls because they have low self esteem and don't know how to talk to a real lady - I saw this on a documentary.

The classic example is Lady Sonia (personally, I do not actually know any of these sites, but have been told).

depends on the people really. some are im/mature regardless of age. and in some cases this can work as it means people are more compatible as they balance each other out. my auntie is fifteen years older than my uncle and they've been happily married for twenty years.

"be with" as in relationship, or merely a sexual matter?

when i was younger i tended to always date older girls cos i looked old for my age - has its benefits but generally I'd say better to stick to your own age range, otherwise there are probably going to be some issues
on the other hand my current gf is 5 years younger than me :P

Why should it matter?
If two people are compatible there shouldn't be any issue of age difference unless we're talking someone really young with someone really old.

I dunno, I suppose it depends on how old you are as to how old you think old is.
If I was in my teens I'd probably think someone in their 30's was old.
20's then middle 40's - 50's would seem old.
See what I mean?
