WOW, rowers rescue plane crash man

A pilot is lucky to be alive after his plane came down in the Irish sea.

John O'Shaughnessy was airlifted to safety after he was found by a crew trying to break the world record for rowing around the British Isles.

When one of the rowers spotted the plane go down, the rest of the team thought it was a diving seagull.

But they decided to investigate anyway a decision which cost them any chance of breaking the record but almost certainly saved the man's life.

I too love the sea but am not a very confident swimmer and that would be one of my worst nightmares

im a confident swimmer and i like waves, just not stuff floating about in it (im not talking animals.. sea creatures, its the man made stuff im shit scared of). nothing in sight! eughhh.

makes me want to grip the bed and hide under the covers :hiding:
