2 years ago this guy thought that I was asking this girl questions about him at this camp. Everyone found out, which made my crush think of me as immature and weird. So he's basically judging me. He hasn't been too nice to me either.
Next week me and my family are going down the shore, and we might see his family, and him, if he's there(but it's best that I don't get my hopes up). We haven't seen each other in a year, and I'm really hoping that he won't be the same as he was before.
Do you think he let things go? Will he still judge me and be mean/disrespectful? He is 19. I'm 17.
And do you think if he knows beforehand that his family's gonna see mine, he won't come just because of me?

This is why he acted weird - as a 17 year old there was no way in hell he was going to hook up with a 15 year old. There's laws against this sort of stuff you know, nevermind having to deal with your furious father if he ever found out his baby sweet heart got plonked by the lad.

I've been on US forums where middle aged blokes have openly bragged about using their guns to intimidate their daughters boyfriends whom they didn't agree with and this is with relationships where both parties were well over the age of consent, and the impression they gave is that they would shoot the bloke and do the time if they had to (although I bet a lawyer could get the sentence reduced) and leave the rest of both families to pick up the pieces...

also even if it didn't get as extreme as that they can still call the cops, and the lad will go on the sex offenders register....

Oh. Well now I'm older and mature and I grew up A LOT. This is what I posted:"We haven't seen each other in a year..." This is what I meant: Last year, he was a senior and I was a sophomore(in high school). I saw him everyday at least once a day in the halls. This year, when I was a junior, he was a freshman in college. So I didn't see him. BUT, I did see him 3 times in the last 2 months, I was just nervous to talk to him. But that was before I realized that all I want to do is be friends with him first. So I'm calm now.
I know your probably thinking, 'wait a minute, he's gonna be a sophomore in college, and your only a senior in high school?!" Wrong! I'm graduating school early by taking classes at my local community college, instead of going to high school.
But my parents are friendly with his, and my brothers are friends with his brothers.
