Bought a new album? Or a single? Give a review here, doesn't matter what genre it is, if you like it and wanna share then let everyone know eh!

I just received this in the post today. OceanLab - Sirens of the Sea (remixed)

It's unmixed but has some outstanding trance tunes packed into it. Good nice vocal trance, CD 1 has some wicked tunes on it, some good floor fillers (imo) and chill-out-after-rave tunes. On the second disc now and it's just as good.

All in all if you like your trance then i'd say give it a listen, I'm definitely gonna keep tabs on this group!

Do u like progressive trance Cliffy or more up-4-it stuff ?

The last CD I (actually bought ?!) a while back was,

Dave Seaman, Renaissance The Awakening

This CD is by now quite some years old (& quite rare), but yet does not sound at all dated - a hallmark of quality. If u like ur progressive trance, this set is stunning and I mean stunning ON BOTH CDs. I would even say this comes close to CD2 on Northern Exposure 3, which (IMO) is one of the most mindblowingly brilliant progressive trance mixes ever..

Listened to CD 2 of the Oceanlab album. One word, Outstanding!!! Like the fact it's all unmixed, will come in handy when i eventually acquire some cd decks!

i'm in2 progressive trance thru & thru, so tend not 2 like vocal trance (and find of these perpetrators utterly dispicable). Maybe there r 1 or 2 good examples, say hav u heard Time (planet funk remix) - Elisa, or Life In Mind (L.I.M vocal mix) - Life On Mars, maybe these r house/trance crossovers.

Above&beyond / OceanLab have and are still making some pretty decent V trance. Only really started listening to them recently but so far am quite impressed!

As far as AAB are concerned, I tend 2 like a bit of the CD and really dislike other bits. Then again, I haven't heard a great deal of their stuff (I really liked Tri-state, more of a chiller with some trance bits and bobs). I havn't heard the Oceanlab yet, but am not mad about anthemic stuff at the mo. :bounce_fl:bounce_g:

The Oceanlab album in my original post has some pretty cool numbers on there, wicked female vocals. Probably best to check out the original CD album if you want a more 'chillier' tunage as the one i have has been remixed. Still good though!
