I have to have a tooth pulled. It's one of my wisdom teeth and it's fucked. Have been referred to the local hospital. Could of had it done there and then but would of set me back 120 pounds and i've already paid 55 squid for today, Gotta go back next Monday and see a hygienist. They don't have laughing gas or sedation at dental practices anymore, you gotta go to a specialised place or a hospital. The hospital is gonna have to knock me out though cos the tooth is right at the back and will be very awkward to pull and i ain't staying awake for that!!

I fucking knew i should of had them fillings done when they said, fucking kicking myself now. But, it wasn't too bad, I have finally faced my fear.

Glad you survived! why do you have to pay for a dentist?

Well you pay for the examination and i paid for me teeth to be cleaned up and for some bird to tell me how much of a cunt i am for not looking after them. That should be fun.

But everyone unless you're unemployed pays for a dentist. So if any of you are unemployed and on jobseekers get yourself down there and get some free treatment, i would well take advantage of it!!!!

luckily our dentist is a family friend so we all get it all for free, I had no idea though that most people had to pay, I had assumed you would just go find an NHS dentist (hard as that might be) and bobs your neice. Bugger! no wounder England has such a poor reputation for teeth!

Innit mate, It's been a real wake up call for me. Definitely going to take care of em a bit better from now on!! I have dental insurance anyways so will get all my money back. At least i didn't have to have any fillings though, that was a right touch!

i have nice teeth =)

btw the hygenist cleans ur teeth up real fucking nice!! but they feel overly clean for a few days!!

makes em look proper nice though, did they say you had gingervitis? (where the plague on your teeth builds up so much you cannot remove with a normal toothbrush)

When i was younger i had too many teeth growing and had to have some pulled. The dentist administered the numb numb and pulled the tooth out. What happened next was absolute blinding pain. turned out the dentist had given the wrong dose and i felt it all. Worse pain i've ever experienced. You can see why i have a slight phobia innit,

NHS dentists are still free for anyone who receives any kind of benefit (tax credits, child tax credits etc) as long as you can find a surgery that is NHS registered

for wisdom teeth it's rare for regular dentists to deal with them... i had 4 teeth taken out to make room for mine to come through. it was a fairly major op

good luck
