David Carradine Dies.

David Carradine has been found dead in his hotel room. Apparently he hung himself. Such a shame, Obviously i didn''t know the fella but i'm proper shocked, he was a brilliant actor and personality and has starred in some wicked films. For those who don't know him that well he recently played the character Bill in the 'Kill Bill' films.

thats about the third actor/actress to hang themselves in 2-3 months... first the young welsh girl off the welsh telly, then the Spiderman actress and now him..

OK the Welsh girl lost a big part due to her series ending - but she was young, fit and spoke both English and Welsh - I would have thought she could get work across the UK but times are hard...

the other two were established performers who wouldn't be short of work, money nor repeat fees...

possibly. Certainly Carradine had recently quit drugs

also the buzz of fame and recognition itself is a drug, if famous people think they are losing it some can have mental problems. Plus everything about fame is fake. Famous people think they are loved but they are envied and hated - they can be stitched up by media or even close friends at any opportunity - at least good coke is still good coke....

the 80s pop star and actor Adam Ant went down this way and got sectioned! (Yes I know he was a bit unwell before that but as soon as he stopped getting film roles and people forgot about him he went more and more scatty...)

I bet the Royal Thai Police Force have seen all sorts of strange deaths in that country...

Police Lt. Gen. Worapong Chewprecha told reporters that Carradine was found with a rope "tied around his penis and another rope around his neck."

"The two ropes were tied together," he said. "It is unclear whether he committed suicide or not or he died of suffocation or heart failure due to an orgasm."

theres a thin line betwen definite suicide attempts and what is called parasuicide, where someone who is depressed increasingly carries out more and more risky activities, especially with regard to drugs, sex and other pleasure seeking activities becoming more extreme..
