i want everyone who reads this thread to go and find a picture you would love to see projected in video at a rave and attach it to their post.

if everyone chips in, there will be enough for me to make a crazy montage of all the bits to meld together for a vj set. i will then record it and stick it back up here, which in turn may inspire you or alter your veiw of art, which you can then feed back to me, which can then feed back to you...ya get the picture.....audience participation core

i look forward to my first genuine online collaboration with strangers (and freinds ;) )

those are ruud, ive already rinsed a fair bit of transformers movies, but those crisp shapes will make some wicked transitions and masks, nice one!

I can scan in rakes of logos like that from obscure comics like hawk and dove....also you'll need the full colour versions as well and some thundercats :wink:

I do think it would look well cool if you could make the decepticon logo fly out from the cobra one.....don't know if you can do that. Still havent been able to get a copy of Arkaos so I have no idea what you can do with it.

if you want to animate the pics, the first step is adobe photoshop. its the mainstay of everything. then to animate them, the easiest prog to use is adobe after effects, coz it works the same as photoshop.

i can make the animations, but i haven't found a place to put them up on the web yet. theres newgrounds.com , but they only take flash as far as i can work out. flash is a heavy prog i havent got my head round, its more for interactive sites n games than strait animation, but its possible and popular as the final files are tiny.

the arkaos site has a demo of the vj program, and as long as you have some decent ram and a good video card in your machine, it should run fine. id recomend anyone slightly interested to download it, its fucking easy and a good laugh. http://www.arkaos.net/software/vj_download.php

Yeah i eMailed the artist to see what the issues were with getting posters done. Apparently Liam Howlett owns it outright and has the original hanging up in his home. Might get a cheeky one off for myself though. Cracking image.

I was almost a professional transformers transformer (total geek)....I used to check all the transformers at iirobotics to see if they were missing any bits and to see if they transformed properly. Unfortunately the guy who owned the premises put the lease up so the robot shop dude couldnt afford it.
