I was just gonna say how much its changed from when i used to go.
They still got the live tent which usually plays life 4 land n stuff haven't they?

Last time i went i didnt feel so comfortable rollin up.
Before the dance arena was wicked with blokes floggin beer n stuff out of backpacks with a real free party feel.

Ill prob be there, not too far and a good day out.

I'd say its OK if you are into stuff like hippy crafts / fashions and green stuff and teenage emo/indie type bands. when I went there in 2006 it was like a hippified village fete or a smaller version of Reading's Womad festival. The rave/party side of it has been clamped down on loads in recent times. There may also be a fuckload of cops and sniffer dogs at the station, and as the event ends cops slowly increase their presence to stop the local townies and younger travellers fighting one another.

the one thing I do know about cambridge is parking is difficult

might be worth going on trip advisor website and posting a question on the forum, I got helpful replies when I did this for summer sundae and even road names to check out!!

It's an interesting day out, well it used to be.

Haven't been for about 10 years but I doubt it's changed very much.

Parking's a nightmare if you decide to drive, usually there's a free party afterwards.

All the side streets round the park get chocka. There are a couple of car parks but they soon get full up. If you don't know Cambridge then it can be a nightmare.

You could probably park on one of the backroads behind the boathouses opposite the field and walk across, I don't know if many people do that.

Also there is some parking a few minutes walk on a road that I think is called Riverside - you basically end up walking down the river for perhaps 5 minutes max from the car, its reasonably easy.

I not change it because i did not think I would stay or use this name. My English friend in Londond use it for a drugs talk then not use again. anyway boys and girls, getting back to topic, went to SF last year and to be honest it wasn't that good.....went cos had been told how good it was but general lighting has got it right its more families/hippies who like crafts and teepees and shit like that, felt paranoid skinning up, but on the plus side the cider was well nice (if a little pricey)
maybe if weather is good i will go cos as i live in MK its pretty simple, but wouldn't trek for miles to go.....but thats just my opionion

It's definitely not a rave up if that's what people are expecting. The dance stage was stopped a few years back because of trouble.

However, it is a nice day out (hopefully in the sun!) and a good place to meet up with people (old friends and new) outside of the usual environment.
