I'm testing a couple of new features today:

The first is the What's Going On? information on the Forum Home Page will now refresh automatically every minute without you having to reload the page.

The second is for the first few minutes after a new post is written it's thread will be known as a Live Thread and you'll see it update dynamically, again without having to reload the page, as people reply to it or edit their replies.

Finally on a side note I upgraded to us to the latest forum software release and enabled Quick Replies and Quick Edits which I think you'll find useful...

Let me know what you think and whether their are (god forbid) any problems...

Live thread works well....but whos online refresh do not...I use party vibe skin...

They all work for me..

Not sure Dr B means the front page feature "who's online"

Not sure Dr B means the front page feature "who's online"

I should have said What's Going On? not Who's Online. Anyway I've corrected the post and added a screentshot for clarity...

You're right it's not working, I've removed it for now but I know how to fix it (I just need the time / energy to go that route)...

yeah it's nice .. i actualy thought a while back that this forum would benifit from that ... should of said something .. but guess there was no need :weee:

and the quick edit thing i like as well cos i allways go over and correct my spelling after i posted and it doesn't show that i have now :laugh at:
