its just supposed to be a funny video...but with a deeper message about practicing safe sex....like you would't (im assuming) let a blind guy drive your car, so why would you practice unsafe sex?...get it? haha

Americans comedy is often about irony while Brits tend to be sarcastic, personally I don't generally find irony funny either...

I'm no art critic or media guru but I hated it. :yawn:

Surely if you trying to point out unsafe sex is dangerous then maybe you could hit the audience with hard hitting in your face facts or documentaries shot in lets say a hospital.

Not some random blind guy driving a car or woman being sexual with some gun.

Does irony work in such a important subject ?

Americans comedy is often about irony while Brits tend to be sarcastic, personally I don't generally find irony funny either...

I find american humour to be very unsubtle.. canned laughter and drum roll with every punchline. And if it's too subtle it there will be a follow up line where somebody states the obvious to explain the joke.

shock tactics don't really work though.

shock tactics has been used in health & sex education in schools to tackle issues regarding drugs, sex etc. and they get laughed at. they are one-sided, and basically insult the intelligence of the viewer somewhat. unbias facts are needed, and a comical video is much more likely to get through.

show a class a video of an ecstsy user turned heroin abuser and they'll laugh at you.
