5 Weeks and 4 Days of Methadone

today i cried all day, i wounder how long this will take i have good days and i have bad days more good than bad i guess. Went to my dr. she gave me xanax to help me sleep. what i need to know is has anyone ever come off this stuff cold turkey and made it. i was on it for pain 90mg to 120mg a day. it is to late to cut down i have alread;y gone this long without it. i feel good for me getting this far but when do i get my energy back. some people told me that emino acids will help with this but i don't want to take anything that is going to hurt my progress.this web site has been a god sent for ingoragment but i hope someone sees this has been through it and can tell me that it can be done and that i will feel human again soon. i make myself get up everyday take a bath and get out of the house everyday is that good or am i wearing myself out. is smoking cig. blocking my progress because i just don't know if i can give them up!!!before i close this i have to thank my husband and my 3 beautiful daughters they know what i am going threw and are behind me all the way. they just have never been through it themselves thank God. When you have more good days than bad days your are definitely getting there :weee: Its a rough ride cold turkey but you are doing great.

You may find it helps recovery to take a good multivitamin and mineral supplement as well as a b complex vitamin supplement.

What kind of pain were you taking the methadone for and how are you managing that pain now?

If you have read the other relevant posts then you know how the detox affects you or would you like some more info on this?

Methadone does not clear from ur system in a week!!!!!!!.......i wish....xxDDDxx

thanks and Dolly i know you are write after 4 weeks i still tested positive. ,,my little girl had surgery on her foot this morning and i made it all the way till 3oo and was up at 700am she is doing great!!!!! got really sick but feeling better. she is home doing great now!!!!!!

keep it up .. but take it one day/step at a time .. don't try and do it all at once .. you can allways give up smoking later .. just deal with one thing at a time ... that way it will be more managable:wink::group_hug
