unfortunatley money sometimes can matter,

my friend was seeing a girl and just simply couldnt keep up with what she was used to financially
(her parents loaded loaded - brought her a DB7 car (?) for her 21st etc)

and it was simple things like getting a round in in the type of bars and clubs she was used to going to / going out for dinner in the restaurants she would meet her mates in -
she lives in mayfair, and it made him feel utterly shit and 'not good enough'...
her bit a rough was our impression in the end :wink:

but - sometimes it doesnt have to matter if you are both willing to comprimise... as in any relationship i guess

I'm not giving up on it, no way. Just some advice was needed.

Got thinking for a couple of days with my friend Mr spliff and came to conclusion.
Give it a go and see what happens, be myself and don't spend all my money.

It's not for the money it's because she's cute.

I have dated several really rich women. You don't have to buy them sports cars to keep them entertained. Treat them nice when you can and when you can't just show them the wonders you can find without money. You'd be surprised how many super rich girls have never really experienced life.

Also be honest from the start don't try and pretend to be some high society freak if you are not....slum it from the start and if they don't bolt then you're sorted.

TBH she could be OK but if she's Asian then her family might be an issue.. things are supposed to have changed since when my parents got together in the 1960s but I get the impression "traditional values" are still commonplace even in the 21st century - my mum was defintely from a "richer" family than my dad and he was a different race (Chinese) and my mums side of the family certainly didn't approve at first.. this is why my own parents came to England... its possible you might find true love but end up back in Luton :laugh_at:
