just watched the new daniel craig film 'defiance' and thought it was pretty damn good.only a screener version out for download last time i checked though

also watched a scanner darkly for the first time recently which is a weird but cool film as well

or you could look on the imdb top 250 (http://www.imdb.com/chart/top) rating and choose some from there.

id recommend downloading some tv series like the sopranos, the wire, band of brothers, deadwood, californication etc...decent series
