can you send money directly from your own bank account to anothers paypal account? i would much perfer doing it that way instead of going through the whole ''wait for 7-10 days for money to be transfered into your paypal account'', would suit me better off as i've just bought a few tunes of discogs.
thanks!

Should be able to aye. If its set up to your bank account then you can normally just click on the 'Send Money' link, enter the other persons email address that their paypal is set up with, input the amount of money you want to send and voila!that should be it.
certainly when using paypal i've never had to add money to the account before sending it, it normally just comes straight out my bank account when I go to send it.

+1. If it's through eBay (which sounds like an eCheque), I think you need to verify your account or something? But if you have funds in there they can transfer immediately.

I've bought loooads of things using PayPal and never had any Issues. Seem pretty safe to me. Although I can't really comment cos you don't find the issues until you have some problems going on.
I use Natwest Current Account and I just send money through PayPal without having to Xfer cash from my account to my PayPal account. It comes straight out.

I use it all the time (too much) and have never had any trouble. Although that has probably sealed my fate for me!
You have to verfiy your bank account to be able to send money directly without waiting. They put small amounts of money in the account and you tell them how much so they know its your account.
The main Paypal page will normally give you a list of things you still need to do to get your account working fully.
