If God is an powerful, all knowing, all everything, omnipotent being...

Why did he take 168 hours to make creation?

Surely he'd just take a second. He obviously had to sit down and think about it, do a little bit up, appreciate his handiwork and get a new idea and so on.

Wow - that's another deep one... all depends on whether you interpret a day as a day as we know it, or if it's some other measurement... after all, God is OUTSIDE of time and space, but the author (Moses) needed to relate it in human terms......
