need help setting up wmp to work with the radio stream....

i downloaded the 2 things i am told i need and installed both ... still doesn't work .. :cry:

You can use Media Player to listen by the way. Just install this program...

What OS are you using? Anyway you might want to remove that program and install something else instead...

hmm well i didn't have it installed in the first place ... and it did work ...
but since lvl one went down it stoped working .. b4 that i could play the stream no problem ...with out that program installed

well i reinstalled the program a few times last night when i was tring it out ... is there any trick to installing it? .. you dont have to install it to a certain place do you?

No. It should just be a matter of installing it once and no configuration needed. Do you get a choice of player before the error message?

yeah i got that screen but i only have one installed ..do i need to choose the program that i downloaded and not the player?

No but I would suggest installing Media Player Classic (the best there is) and seeing whether that works... You installed the codecs I suggested as well right?

yeah i installed the codecs ... i don't really like wmp11 .. i prefered wmp 9 so don't mind installing the classic vesion

DF i had the same prob... but i've found out what the problem is... if you're using Firefox when you click the link and it asks what program to open it with, don't select wmplayer.exe click the wee drop down box and select plsinwindowsmedia it then plays it :)

its basically the .pls add on in media player. As the new radio link is a .pls file.. :)
