Crazy Party Ends Up in the Dumps?

Wow, so about two weeks ago I had this crazy party that I posted on Online and about 130 people showed up. There were 4 Budweiser kegs and those went down in about four hours. After that things went down hill from there. It resulted in windows being smashed, fights breaking out and a whole bunch of drama after drama. Ever have a crazy party end up in the dumps? I would like to here about it.

Was everyone drinking alcohol? I have been to many shindigs where it's ended in violence and it can always be down to alcohol. Swap it with pills and that shit never happens! :love:

I did wonder, but seems a strange way of promoting a site by emphasising the downside of putting your house parties online..

Especially when there have been a number of high profile cases worldwide what have eventually resulted in Police action and in some cases parents bringing criminal charges against their own children, plus it leads the site open to having info formally requested from it by the feds..

Hey, this is no advertising..it was really just me trying to start a conversation about crazy parties. I was not saying it was a bad party because I posted it on the internet, it was actually a great party with a lot of crazy people. Of course there was alcohol..I think if I had pills at my party, it would probably end up as a sex party..

In previous employment I used to do a lot of IT work for CBC and various other film makers/broadcasters in Canada (for some reason this was outsourced to England). Which is why I know about the NFB's excellent animations - and that also people speak French (with odd accents) in some parts of your country.

I found they were good people but often a lot more forceful and brash compared to the British (but not quite as much as Americans). Many aspects of Canadian culture were a halfway house between the UK (particularly Scotland) and the USA. Hardly surprising given your nations history..

Having large house parties with kegs is definitely an American trait. So is a 19 year old actually having access to a house in a neighbourhood large enough to hold 130 people - in England unless its a really rich kid you couldn't get that many into a house party and if they all spilled out onto the streets the cops would get called. Anyway at teenagers/youths parties here they usually buy their own drinks in bottles/cans (there is a wider variety of alcohol consumed) and there is more emphasis on recreational drugs.

Your first post also coincided with another Canadian posting the exact same links. Now a while back we have had a barrage of Canadian spammers before (last time it was a load of "young girls" talking about makeovers and claiming to know one another - which we traced back to a marketing campaign in the Toronto area.

so its hardly surprising that the mods and the rest of the community on here got suspicious.

TBH most of the parties we talk/talked about on here were rave parties, held without a formal license in disused buildings or on common land (I believe you call this Crown land in Canada). Unfortunately, when our parties end up "down in the dumps", it ends up the locals complainign and eventually 100 or more riot police closing them down. People get hurt on both sides, society gets more and more divided, and sites like this get more watched by law enforcement to the point we can no longer talk that openly about the things we enjoy.

Or in the inner city areas of England when a teenagers' house party of the kind you mentioned goes wrong, its not uncommon for fights with weapons to occur and people to get hurt or even killed.

There is no bright side or "funny banter" you can have when this happens.
